Using DoCheck with ACC, BIM 360, Procore and SharePoint

Any PDF that you wish to track, needs to be stamped with a DoCheck QR code. The PDF files need to be put in the folders selected in the previous step (DoCheck: Admins let’s get started!).

In the example below, we Activated the BIM 360 folder “Office drawings” in the DoCheck admin site. When a user uploads a PDF to this folder in BIM 360, the first page will be automatically stamped with a QR code. The same applies if you are using Autodesk BUILD, Procore, or Microsoft SharePoint.

Note: the version of the file is updated every time a file is stamped with a DoCheck QR code.

 

Once a file has been stamped, it can be printed and scanned with any QR reader on any type of device.

Scanning and checking if a file is the latest version

A user can scan a DoCheck QR code using any type of device (smartphone, tablet, PDA, etc.) running Android, Windows, or Apple. All that is needed is a QR reader app. You can download one for your device, or use the built-in one if you are on an Apple or Samsung device.

When a document is scanned it is either identified as File is the latest version or File is not the latest version. In both cases, the latest version present on ACC, Procore, BIM 360, or SharePoint is mentioned and the file can be directly opened in the device’s browser.
